    It is important you are aware that some online suppliers particularly those not dedicated to stringed instruments will not send your instrument out fully set up, and in fact you may receive your instrument sent straight from the box i.e. Bridge down Sound post down etc. This workshop set-up is crucial if you want to play your instrument when you receive it. Otherwise you will need to take it to a specialist violin shop and have the set up professionally carried out. This will generally cost a minimum of £25.00, so unless stated we would advise you to check first. We check adjust and set-up all instruments before they leave our workshops. However full professional upgrades are available by request which includes better strings, hand cut Workshop Bridge and sound post.

    C. H. Ling Master Viola VLA15 - £1738.13

    C. H. Ling Master Viola.
    C. H. Ling is one of China's celebrated viola makers. His work has been catalogued in the Strad magazine (August 1999). The winner of three gold medals at violin aking competitions, Ling trained and apprenticed in Italy and Germany. His master violas are made solely with European materials and wonderfully varnished with either a rich reddish-brown or golden amber-brown colour. In the USA his instruments attract a sizeable following.
