violin shop was established at Perry Road Bristol by George Darbey in 1879. He
was one of the best professional violin makers and restorers of his time.
Bristol's largest violin shop Cremona House is an historic and unique building and has been in
continuous use as a violin shop in Bristol since it first opened. Over a hundred years
later and well into its second century it has become one of the leading
violin, viola, cello dealing and repairing establishments in the country.
